Building Bodies

When interacting with objects from the Ancient Americas, it is important to remember that each culture did not operate in a vacuum, but instead there was a free flowing network of trade and movement between each one. These free flowing trade networks resulted in the partial blurring of visual cultures, especially when the trade or movement of pottery vessels or otherwise ritual objects was involved. This exhibition aims to examine the similarities and differences present in artifacts that could be found in Ancient America.
